Evelyn H. Sopetto, nee Fix, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 29, 1927, in Maryville, Ill., died at 3:10 a.m. Sunday, March 24, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Sopetto was a member of St. John United Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling and bingo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete P. Sopetto, whom she married on Aug. 19, 1950; her parents, Phillip and Mary, nee McCullough, Fix; and two sisters, Katherine Chepely and Marie Miller.

Surviving are her son, Craig (Debbie) Sopetto of San Angelo, Texas; a grandson, Craig Sopetto II of Sarasota, Fla.; a granddaughter, Cachet Jankowski of Sarasota, Fla.; and three great-grandchildren, Kylie, Rihanna and Chloe.
