Evelyn H. Burniski, 95, of Collinsville, Ill. passed away on Monday, March 21, 2016, in Teutopolis, Illinois.

Evelyn was a faithful member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill where she was a member of the Altar Society and Daughters of Isabella. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grand and great grandchildren .. She also enjoyed cooking and worked bingo.

She was preceded in death by her death by her husband, Adam Burniski, whom she married on Dec. 27, 1952; a grandson Nicholas Dellamano; and her parents William and Susan, nee Ambromich, Healey.

Evelyn is survived by her children Marianne (Richard) Tegeler of Teutopolis, Ill., Bill Burniski of Collinsville, Ill., Judy (Mike) Mason of Troy, Ill., and Carolyn (Pat) Dellamano of Collinsville, Ill. Also survived by grandchildren, Adam Runde, Lauren Pals and Alex Burniski; great grandchildren, Summer Sikes, Jack Pritchard, Heston Runde and Raegan Pals; sister, June Kreuter of Florida; brothers, William Healy, Jr. of Belleville, Ill., Russell Healy of Texas and Donald Healey of Belleville, Ill.

Memorials may be made to HSHS Hospice Southern Illinois, American Heart or American Diabetes Association.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2016 at the Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Ill. and from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the church. Internment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, Ill.
