Fleeta I Jackson

Fleeta Jackson, 84, of Caseyville, IL., born May 31, 1934, in Madison, IL., passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018, in Maryville, IL.

Fleeta was loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who was caring and dedicated to her family.  She continued those same qualities into her professional life as a nurse caring for her patients.  Fleeta was a former member of Grace Baptist Church, Granite City, IL., for many years.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Toby Staicoff & Ricky Jackson; her parents Ernest & Lela, nee Crowder, Reiter.

Surviving are her loving husband of 41 years Thomas "Tommy" Jackson; her sons, Michael (Cheryl) Staicoff of FL., Robert (Christy) Staicoff of Granite City, IL., Randy Jackson of Collinsville, IL.; her sisters, Evelyn Lisac of Granite City, IL. & Doris Cassens of Edwardsville, IL.; her brother Jim Reiter of TX; her 8 grandchildren & 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to American Center for Law and Justice and can be received at Herr Funeral Home.  Condolences to the family can be expressed through this online guestbook.

Visitation:  Friends may visit with the family 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Funeral:  Funeral services for Fleeta will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018, from the funeral home with Pastor Ron Habermehl officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, IL.
