Floy C. Hartman, 94, of Glen Carbon, IL, born April 12, 1926, in Hardin, IL to the late Stephen Roy and Flossie Ellen (nee Cory) Blackwell, passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2020.

Floy was a former member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a long time Volunteer at Anderson Hospital.

In addition to her parents, Floy is preceded in death by her son, Richard Hartman; brother, Stephen Cory Blackwell; sisters, Faye (William) Blumberg; Fern (Ray) Hancock; and brother-in-law; Robert Olbrich.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son; Ronald (Patricia) Hartman; daughter, Linda (Rev. Elmer) Bowman; grandchildren, Stephen Bowman; Melissa Bowman; Nathan Hartman; Brandy Livingston; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Ellis Blackwell; sister, Frances Olbrich; as well as many friends and distant relatives.

Friends may visit to pay their respects between 9 and 10:45 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2020, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL. We respectfully request that guests maintain a distance of six feet and wear a mask while in attendance. Guests inside the building will be limited to 10, and we will disinfect the facility after each group. The family will conduct a private service after the gathering with burial at St. John Cemetery.
