Frances Kathryn Esterlein, nee Carr, 77, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 19, 1935, in Highland, Ill., died at 4:17 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Kathryn was a member of the Collinsville Noontime Lions Club, the Legion of Mary, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She was vice president and loan officer at the State Bank in Collinsville, Ill., and had worked at Collinsville Building & Loan, Collinsville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Hildagard "Sis", nee Best, Carr.
Surviving are her husband, Ray Esterlein, whom she married Oct. 19, 1963; four daughters, Laura (Mike) DeLuca of Collinsville, Ill., Sarah (Scott) Calvin of Marine, Ill., Becky (Mike) Rieso of Belleville, Ill., and Susie (Elijah Lewis) Tipton of Maryville, Ill.; a son, Paul Esterlein of Collinsville, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at the church with the Rev. William Engfehr officiating. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
