Frances Ann Zickus, nee Scimemi, 89, of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 14, 1923, in St. Louis, Mo., died at 6:35 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Mrs. Zickus was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in East St. Louis, Ill., and the Married Ladies Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Zickus Sr., whom she married on July 28, 1946; her parents, Steve and Jenny, nee Signorelli, Scimemi; a brother, Joseph Scimemi; and a sister, Geraldine "Jerry" Boucher.

Surviving are her children, John W. Zickus Jr., of Collinsville, Ill., and JoAnn (Mike) Vanderlinden of Blue Springs, Mo.; grandchildren, Kelly (Sean) Ludera, Michelle (Brian) Vestle, Rob (Meg) Zickus and Tim (Leslie) Zickus; and great-grandchildren, Jack, Lia, Morgan and Madison.
