Frances L. Wadlow, 91, of O''Fallon, Ill. passed away on Friday, January 15, 2016, at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea, Ill. She was born November 29, 1924 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Gopal D. and Bessie Mae nee Wallace Lee.

Frances worked for 30 years at the Tri-Way Village Cleaners in Wood River, Ill. and then for 10 years was owner operator of the National Cleaners. She was a loving mother who enjoyed her grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Verlin L Wadlow, whom she married on June 28, 1943; sisters, Sarah A. Lee and Dorothy E. Lee-Wagner and also brothers, John H. and David H. Lee.

Frances is survived by her daughter, Shirley Lee (Ronald) Spilker of Belleville, Ill.; a sister, Betty Pauke of Sun City, Az.; a brother, Robert E. Lee of Spartanburg, S.C.; and her grandchildren, Robert Tindall, Josh and Aaron Spilker and Dale Bruce Wadlow.

Friends may call Wednesday, January 20, 2016 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, Ill. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 pm

Interment is private and will follow at the Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon, Ill.
