Obituary

Frank J. Wasiski, 86, of Collinsville, Ill., born March 24, 1930, in Camden, N.J., passed away Saturday, April 9, 2016, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Frank retired as a salesman from U.S. Printing Ink, and for over 40 years operated his own business U.S. Graphic Supply in Collinsville, Ill. His many interests included growing grapes and making wine and was very proud of his garden. He enjoyed fishing and dancing, but most of all being with his cats. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Anna, nee Hyde, Wasiski; and a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and SallyWasiski.

Surviving are his wife, Pauline, nee Kanady, Wasiski whom he married on May 5, 1951; two daughters, Barbara Beaman, and Gail (Robert) Miles both of Ashley, Ill.; a granddaughter, Nikki Beaman of Richmond, Calif.; a nephew, Edward (Gayle) Wasiski of Woodbury, N.J.; a sister-in-law, Genevieve Kawula of Granite City, Ill.; and a niece, Patricia (Shelly) Buschel of Portland, Ore.

Memorials may be made to Family Hospice Belleville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends and family may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday April 13, 2016, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill.

Services: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday April 13, 2016, at the funeral home, with Rev. Tony Minear officiating.

Burial to follow in Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
