Frank G. Gall, 94, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 19, 1918, in West Frankfort, Ill., died at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Gall was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran. He was the past commander of the VFW Post 1739 in Belleville, Ill. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and was a fan of all sports.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Frank G. and Helen Gall; and a son, Joseph Yakubinis

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Helen, nee Niznansky, Gall of Collinsville, Ill.; daughter-in-law, Mary C., nee Astrauskas, Yakubinis; granddaughter, Jennifer Casey of Collinsville, Ill.; grandson, Jeffrey Yakubinis of Seattle, Wash.; and great-grandson, Christopher J. Casey.

Funeral: Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., with the Rev. Tony Minear officiating.
