Franklin (Frank) Edward Albertina Jr., 70, of Collinsville, Illinois, born December 31, 1955, died on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at his home in Collinsville. Frank was a graduate of Collinsville High School, Class of 1974.  He was retired at the time of his death; however, his most recent employment was with Domino's Pizza in Collinsville as a part-time delivery driver. Among other jobs, his longest-tenured employment was with Sigma-Aldrich Chemical in St. Louis, Missouri, where he worked as a delivery foreman.  Frank was a hard worker, taking on multiple jobs concurrently for many years before retirement.

Frank was a loving and devoted father, son, brother, and grandpa/great-grandpa.  Despite a hectic work schedule, Frank always found time to play sports with his sons as well as coach baseball and basketball teams.  Frank spent many nights watching old western movies.  His true passion was going on float trips on the rivers around Missouri with his family and friends.

Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Albertina; his father, Frank Albertina Sr.; and his mother, Verna May Albertina.

Surviving are his sons, Eric D. Boone Sr. of Troy, Illinois; Anthony D. Albertina of Collinsville, Illinois; Andrew F. Albertina of Collinsville, Illinois; and Aaron R. (Kayla) Albertina of Troy, Illinois; grandchildren, Eric "EJ" (Jenn) Boone Jr., Maxwell "Maxx" Boone, Carson Albertina, Mayce Boone, Hadley Albertina, Harper Albertina, and Hensi Albertina; great-grandchildren, James Boone and Noah Boone; and sisters, Debbie (John) Rukavina of Collinsville, Illinois, and Linda Smelser of Collinsville, Illinois.

Celebration of Life will take place at the Collinsville VFW on March 28th, 2026 from 4pm-9pm.
