Freda M. Stonesifer, 83, of Caseyville, IL passed away peacefully on May 22, 2025.

She was born on August 25, 1941, in Alto Pass, IL, to William and Pauline (Smith) Glasco. A devoted homemaker, Freda was a kind-hearted and cheerful woman who found joy in the simple things. She loved her family deeply and was steadfast in her faith.

Freda enjoyed crocheting and had a special love for fishing-especially night fishing. She was always ready to grab her pole and head out, finding excitement and peace at the banks of the water. She also had  a special love of Elephants, having a collection that spanned around 2000.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pauline; her brothers, Buddy and Eddie Glasco; her son Rolla Stonesifer; granddaughter Sandy; her aunt Eileen; and two angel great grandbabies.

Surviving are her loving children, Mike (Shirley) Stonesifer, Wayne (Judy) Stonesifer, Theresa Stonesifer, and Rita (Clifford) Womack; 21 beloved grandchildren; and 23 beloved great grandchildren.

Freda's gentle spirit, warm smile, and unwavering love will be remembered always by those who knew and cared for her.

A visitation for family and friends is set for Friday, June 6, 2025, at Herr Funeral Home - 501 W. Main Street, Collinsville, IL, from 3-7pm. A private burial will follow on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Kelley Cemetery in Cobden, IL.
