Galli Demediuk, nee Zwirowa, 85, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 15, 1926, in Moscow, Russia, died at 9:35 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2011, at her residence.



Mrs. Demediuk was preceded in death by her parents, Nickoli and Lydia, nee Simonenko, Zwirowa; and a daughter, Kathryn Eads.



Surviving are her husband, Peter F. Demediuk of Collinsville, Ill., whom she married on Aug. 24, 1946; son, Paul P. (Laura) Demediuk of San Diego, Calif.; and grandsons, Chad Motiejaitis of Collinsville, Ill., and Brendean Demediuk of San Diego, Calif.
