Gary Kendall Day, 62, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 4, 1950, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 12:44 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Day was a licensed pilot. He was a member of the Ryan White Foundation.

Gary was preceded in death by his daughter, Tamela Ann Day; and father, George Kenneth Day.

Surviving are his mother, Marjorie E., nee Scott, Day of Collinsville, Ill.; brother, Ronald A. (Tammy) Day of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; cousins, Roseanne Young and Gordon Day; and a dear friend, Jimmie A Staggs of St. Louis, Mo.
