Gary Emerson

Gary Emerson, 65, of Belleville, Ill., born April 6, 1951, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016.

Gary worked for National Graphics Inc., for 26 years, and

Siemens manufacturing. Gary proudly served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Shirley Emerson; and a brother, Michael Cralley.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Donna, nee Perotti, Emerson, whom he married June 19, 1976, in Collinsville Ill.; his children, Brian and Donna Emerson of Wood River Ill., and Heather Emerson (Bill) of Belleville Ill.; his brothers, Terry (Donna) Emerson of Collinsville Ill., John (Paula) Emerson of Euless Texas, Kevin Emerson of Waterloo Ill., and Jeff Cralley of Belleville Ill.; a sister, Nancy (Butch) Knight of Collinsville

Ill.; three grandchildren, Dallis, Dylan, and Brian Emerson Jr.; a great-grandchild, Jayden Harper; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Memorial Hospital, and Heartland

Hospice. Memorials may be made to the family.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday August 9, 2016, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
