Gary Ralph Vaughn, 65, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on May 26, 2021, in Stuart, Florida.

Gary was born October 2, 1955, to Ralph and Virda (Hoover) Vaughn in Granite City, Illinois.

He was an artist at his trade of wood carving, he also enjoyed playing his guitar, riding motorcycles, and watching cowboy movies.  Gary loved life and traveling, he enjoyed seeing his family get together and taking caring of them.  Gary liked to make jokes and make people laugh. He will be missed by his friends and family.

Survivors include the love of his life for 38 years, Joann Palmer; son, Thatcher Vaughn; daughters:  Shania Palmer, Tionia Litton, and Tonya Palmer; sisters: kathy Vaughn, Linda Meyer, and Beverly Larose; grandchildren:  Brianna Finch, Tyler, Litton, Nakiya Litton and Drew Perkins; great granchild: Colton Perkins.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
