Gary "Jack" Donald Williams, 74, of Troy, IL, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at
Memorial East Hospital in Shiloh, IL. Jack was born on November 11, 1949 in Sevierville,
Tennessee, to parents Claude and Mildred (nee Stoffle) Williams. He married Debbie (nee Clark)
on April 14, 1973 at Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville, IL.

Jack served in the Army, was a Vietnam Veteran receiving the Purple Heart accommodation. His
greatest accomplishment in life was his family. He enjoyed taking cruises, going to casinos and
spending time with loved ones. When he wasn't traveling, he enjoyed his retirement picking
kids up from school, taking them to practices and games, and cheering them on.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude (Waneta) Williams, Mildred Williams; and
daughter, Jennifer Lynn Harris.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Debbie L. Williams; son, Chad D. (Jennifer)
Williams of Trenton, IL; grandchildren, Darrian Harris, Ciera Harris, Addison Williams and Tucker
Williams; brother, Jerry Williams of Sevierville, TN.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Purple Heart Foundation.

A private celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
