Gary W. Wylie, 67, of Collinsville, Ill., born Dec. 9, 1946, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 2:08 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Wylie was employed with Laclede Gas for 30 years. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Collinsville, Ill., and was a U.S. Army veteran. Gary was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Anna, nee Fuehner, Wylie.

Surviving are his wife, Diana, nee Duckworth, Wylie of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Aug. 26, 1972; son, James (Kathy) Wylie of Collinsville, Ill.; granddaughter, Alexis Wylie; brother, Donald Wylie of Fallon, Nev.; and sisters, Sharon Sullivan of Caseyville, Ill., and Beverly Robbins of Caseyville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Sherman Smith officiating. Interment in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
