Gayle Elaine Tegtmeier, nee Cherry, 62, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, May 18, 1953, in Granite City, Ill., passed away Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.

Gayle was vice-president of Bar Plan in St. Louis, Mo., for 29 and a half years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cletus L. and Dorothy, nee Eddington, Cherry; a brother, Edwin Cherry; and a sister, Cleta Cherry (Floyd) Drummond.

Surviving are her sister, Anita Cherry (Byron) Davis of Collinsville, Ill.; an aunt, Olive Jean Jackson of Carlsbad, Calif.; nieces, Jennifer O'Pelt of Fort Worth, Texas and Julie Angley of Orlando, Fla.; and numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral: A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill., at a later date.
