Gayloid "Gail' Louise Ledbetter -(nee Brown) - Age 80, ofGlen Carbon, IL, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Survived by her three children Teresa (late Jeff) Rutz of Collinsville; James (Kathy) Ledbetter of Hillsboro, MO; and Anthony (Deborah) Ledbetter of Collinsville.  Three grandchildren Alisha Stanek, Austin (Rose) Grace and Ryan Ledbetter.  Three great-grandchildren Jaydyn, Kyllin and Preston.  She is also survived by her mother Ruby 'Louise' Brown Townzen; a brother Samuel (Linda) Brown; two half brothers Gary (Mary) Brown and John Brown.  She is survived by an uncle Steven (Pattie) Corbitt, a nephew Rick (Hope) Brown, a niece Sondra (Beth) Brown and several other nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband Garland Ledbetter (2003), a daughter Christine Ledbetter,  a son David Ledbetter; her father Loyd Brown and a sister Sondra Brown.

Gail was born March 14, 1942, in East Prairie, Missouri.  She enjoyed crafts, puzzles and collecting antique glass.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and daughter who will be dearly missed by her family and all who knew her.

The family would like to extend a special 'thank you' to Doris Brown for her loving care and companionship given to Gail over the past year.

Per her wishes cremation rites will be accorded.  Family will receive family and friends at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, on Monday, March 6, 2023, from 2:00 PM until the time of Memorial Services at 4:00 PM.  Inurnment to follow next to her husband at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates at a later date.
