Georgia M. Jensen-Holst, nee Manuel, 86, of Collinsville, Ill., born Saturday, March 3, 1928, in Richland, Mo., died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Georgia retired from St. Mary's Hospital after many years of service, and had also worked at McDonnell Douglas. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Collinsville, Ill., and Gideons Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary E., nee Lucas, Manuel; three brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are three daughters, Janet Jensen-Nulsen (David) of Cahokia, Ill., Dianna Lynn Jensen-Birlew (Harry) of Swansea, Ill., and Carol Ann Jensen-Emke (David Lee) of Dupo, Ill.; her husband, Walter Holst of Edwardsville, Ill.; a brother, Rev. James Albert Manuel of Fort Worth, Texas; six stepchildren, Beverly (Mike) Ruger of Collinsville, Ill., Doug (Bethany) Holst of Collinsville, Ill., Darla (Dr. Mark) Day of Woodriver, Ill., Lois (Greg) Morris of Waxhaw, N.C., David (Elaine) Holst of Home Wood, Ill., and Donna (Dan) Simon of Belleville, Ill.; 17 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 24, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Harry L. Birlew officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.
