Gerald E. Godin's Obituary
Gerald E. "Jerry" Godin, 83, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Friday, May 8, 1931, in Granite City, Ill., passed away at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Jerry honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He retired from Granite City Steel after 40 years. He was a member of Praise Community Fellowship.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Wood; and his parents, Edmond and Engel, nee Eisenbarth, Godin.
Surviving are his wife, Betty, nee Lashley, Godin, whom he married on June 11, 1962; his daughter, Michelle Waller of Edwardsville, Ill.; and two grandchildren, Jason Wood and Kayla (Bryan) Neyman.
Memorials may be made to Praise Community Fellowship or the
American Cancer Society

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014, at Crystal Gardens in Edwardsville, Ill. Per request cremation will be accorded.
