Gladys Mae King 86, of East Palestine, Ohio Passed away Thursday November 14, 2024, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

She was born December 9, 1937, in Saint Louis, Missouri. The daughter of the late William and Gladys (Johnson) Strehle. She was proceeded in death by her husband Wayne L. King Sr. and her grandson Sean M. O'Connor.

Gladys graduated Granite City High School. She was a member of Wellsville First Christian Church. She had various jobs but for the majority of the time she was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, singing, and artwork. She volunteered with numerous organizations.

Gladys is survived by her son Wayne L. (Janine) King Jr. of Joliet, IL and her daughter Cindy L. (Edward) Anderson of East Palestine, OH. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Stacey (David) Everson of Columbus, OH, Kelsey King of Joliet, IL, Jeremey Barnjum Virginia Beach, VA, Serena (Jeremiah Swiger) Anderson of New Cumberland, WV, Andrew Anderson of East Liverpool, OH, Jackson (Elizabeth) Anderson of Salineville, OH, Malinda (Spencer) Pereira of Winnabow, NC, and nine great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the hour of service.

Following the funeral service, Mrs. King will be laid to rest at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
