Glenda Kay Phegley, nee Hughes, 67, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 25, 1945, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 10:28 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Phegley enjoyed making quilts and being with her family. She was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and was a former school bus driver.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Alma Buck and Lloyd Hughes; a daughter, Delores Jean Phegley; brothers and sisters, Michael Hurst, Vernon Buck, Judy Hardin and Carol Hunt.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis Phegley whom she married on July 27, 1963; a daughter, Annette Adams of Collinsville, Ill.; two sons, David (Tina) Phegley of Troy, Ill., and Dennis (Kim Kwansy) Phegley of Collinsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Jacob Adams, Robert Adams, Lucas Adams, Daniel Phegley, Jack (Suzanne) Phegley, April (Brad) O'Dell, Donnie (Juanita) Ferguson, Jason Ferguson, Stephen Ferguson and Nicole Crider; brothers and sisters, Vick (Verna) Buck of Reloit, Wis., Barbara Hughes of Orlando, Fla., Richard Buck of Deland, Fla., and Donna Atwood of Troy, Ill.; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Sherman Smith officiating. Interment in Lake View Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
