Gloria Louise Harner, 91, of Collinsville, Ill., born Monday, June 16, 1924, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, January 31, 2016.

Gloria earned a Bachelors Degree in Anthropology from SIUE. She was also an Office Administrator. She was a member of the 1st United Presbyterian Church in Collinsville, Ill., a member of Beta Sigma Phi and Collinsville Garden Club.

Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Harner, whom she married on Monday, April 24, 1944; and her parents, Bennett C. and Laura B., nee Heatherly, East.

Surviving are a son, Richard M. (Joyce) Harner of Liberty, Mo., and their children, Mary, Barbara, and Kathleen; a son, Kevin D. (LuAnn) Harner of Alton, Ill., and their children, Alison, Grant, and Blake; and son, Paul S. Harner of Collinsville, Ill.

Visitation: Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at 1st Presbyterian Church, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at noon Wednesday, February 3, 2016, at the church. Interment will follow at St. John Cemetery.
