Gloria D. Bluemner

Gloria D. "Jonnie" Bluemner, 85, of Caseyville, Illinois passed away on Friday June 15, 2018.  She was born in Brunswick, Georgia on September 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Hunter and Vera Johnson.  She was also preceded by two brothers Ronald and Hunter Johnson.

Jonnie loved her husband Kenneth whom she married November 12, 1954, in Jacksonville, Florida, and survives in Caseyville, Illinois.  She also leaves her daughter Cynthia (Kent) Carson of O'Fallon, Illinois, and son Joel (Vicki) Bluemner of Collinsville, Illinois.  Also two lovely granddaughters Kari Morton and Cassie Bluemner and two great grandchildren Gatlin and Arleigh Morton.

Jonnie loved her family and enjoyed spoiling them all.  On her free time she enjoyed toll painting and drawing.  She  was a nurse and worked at Castle Haven in Swansea and  River Bluff in Cahokia.  She also worked for Dr. Harvey and Dr. Morrison.

Memorials may be given to St John E. U.C.C. and can be received at Herr Funeral Home.  Condolences to the family may be expressed through this online guestbook.

Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2018, at Herr Funeral Home.

Interment to follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois
