Gregory Eugene "Captain" Piquard, age 63 years old of Collinsville, IL passed away on September 17, 2020. Greg was born on November 6, 1956 in E. St. Louis, IL.

Greg was a loving father and grandfather. Greg was also known as Mr. Fixit as he could fix anything.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Eugene E. Piquard and Betty Jo (Isenhardt) Piquard.  Survived by his loving children, Margaret Gibson of Springhill, TN, Joy (Broc) Sova of Maryville, IL, Pete (Tarah) Thiel of Lake St. Louis, MO, and Michael Thiel of Spring Hill, TN. A brother and sister, Kathy Akins of Belleville, IL and John (Rachel) Piquard of Pocahauntes, IL. Grandchildren, Joey Burg, Gideon Sova, Eliana Sova, Caleb Thiel, and Kinzie Thiel.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25, 2020  from 4pm – 8pm at Calvary Life Church, 4650 Maryville Rd., Granite City, IL 62040. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Calvary Life Church at 10:00am.
