Gretchen Marie Linden, 56, of St. Peters, Mo., born Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1957, in Denton, Texas, died at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2014, at Relais Bonne Eau in Edwardsville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by a nephew, Timothy "TJ" Renfro.

Surviving are her daughter, Leah Linden of St. Peters, Mo.; mother, Jean, nee Gottsch, Linden of Caseyville, Ill.; father, Dr. George "Bill" Linden of Edwardsville, Ill.; stepmother, Dr. Eva Dreikurs-Ferguson of Edwardsville, Ill.; sisters, Melanie (Mark) Jasper of New Baden, Ill., Adrienne Linden of Edwardsville, Ill., and Christina Linden of Edwardsville, Ill.; stepbrothers, Rodney (Kathleen) Ferguson of San Francisco, Calif., and Bruce (Karen) Ferguson of Blackburg, Va.; stepsisters, Beth (Jim) Wee of New Orleans, La., and Linda (Cindy) Ferguson of Reston, Va.; and nieces, Ashley (Tim) Reno, Erin Linden-Swafford, Maddy Linden-Swafford and Maria Linden.
