Harold Black, age 90, of Edwardsville, died at 9:32 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home.

He was born Dec. 13, 1924, in Edwardsville, the son of the late Carl and Irma Cordell Black.

He married Patricia Besaw on March 17, 1977. She survives.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Gwen Pauer, Dorothy Grizio, Ann Carter and Mary Moore and one brother: Orin Black.

Mr. Black was a vice president in the textile industry. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of American Legion Post 199 in Edwardsville.

Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon.

Funeral services will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Shriner's Hospital for Children.
