Harold Dwaine Hartman, 83, formerly of Hillsboro, IL, died on June 4, 2020, at Edwardsville Nursing and Rehab.

Harold was a NASCAR lover, drag strip racer, whiskey sipper, country music-loving ladies man and he was loved by many.

Harold is preceded in death by his wife, Linda (nee Snarr) Hartman; parents, Thurman and Noia (nee Brown) Hartman; and granddaughter, Dana Janssen.

He is survived by his

4 children, Gary Hartman of Tampa, FL; Cheryl Hartman of Naples, FL; Ginger Janssen of Hillsboro, IL; Amy Hartman Davis of Troy, IL;

3 step-children; Ron Rakey of Chicago, IL; Eric Rakey of Litchfield, IL; Laura Rakey of Brooksville, FL;

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Cleve & Delores Plunkett of Hillsboro, IL;

10 grandchildren, as well as many friends and extended family.

In honor of Harold's wishes, the family will conduct a private service at a later date.
