Harold "Dean" Lucas, 75 , of Collinsville, IL, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2022 at his residence with his family by his side.

Dean was born on July 3, 1947, to David Nathan & Dora Jane (Wickerham) Lucas in Collinsville, IL.

Dean worked as a Steel Mill worker and also owned D & R Garage in Collinsville, IL.  His passion was working on cars, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his wife Shirley "Sue" Lucas, parents David & Dora Lucas, one brother and six sisters.

He is survived by his daughter Angela D. Lucas, of Collinsville, IL and granddaughter Dallas D. Hopper of Collinsville, IL.  Two brothers, George "Duck" Lucas, of Collinsville, IL, Thomas (JoAnn) Lucas of Pocahontas, IL, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Per Dean's request, cremation rites have been accorded. A burial will be held at a later date.
