GRANITE CITY- Hazel L. Bogard, 88, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at her residence in Granite City, IL.

She was born October 1, 1930 in Hopkinsville, KY to Joseph and Minnie (Jones) Bradshaw. She married Richard Bogard on August 26, 1949 in Cahokia, IL;  together they shared 69 wonderful years of marriage. Richard survives and resides in Granite City, IL.

Also surviving are her children, Rosemary (David) McBride of Granite City, IL, Sharon (Chris) Killebrew of Athens, AL, William R. (Pam) Bogard of Edwardsville, IL and Patricia (Paul Boner) Scarborough of Granite City, IL; ten grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Gregory, Matthew, Jeremiah, Hannah, Stephen, Samuel, Daniel and Breanna; and seven great-  grandchildren.

Hazel worked as a homemaker, devoted to her loving family.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Claude Bradshaw, Clyde Bradshaw, Sonnie Bradshaw, Bonnie Joiner and Josephine Combs.

VISITATION: A visitation for Hazel will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018 from 1:00 P.M.- 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL 62034.

FUNERAL: A funeral will be held immediately following the visitation, at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Roy Rhodes will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
