Heather R. Brooks, of Glen Carbon, Illinois passed away June 13th, 2024, at the age of 48. She was born to Wayne and Karen (Faulkner) Brooks on May 23rd, 1976, in Wood River, Illinois.

In death Heather is reunited with her parents, Karen and Wayne Brooks of Collinsville, Illinois and Uncle Judge Wendell Durr of Edwardsville, Illinois.

Those left to cherish her memory are her Aunt Constance Anderson (Don) of Saint Louis, Aunt Jean Durr of Glen Carbon, Cousin Shayne Hummel of Saint Louis, and many friends.

Heather attended and graduated from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville (SIUe), where she obtained her degree in Accounting, as well as her Master's in Business Administration. Heather worked at The International Companies in Fenton, Missouri, where she was the Chief Financial Officer.

Heather had a passion for country music and attended many concerts, where she posed for photos with the artists and obtained autographs. She especially loved Garth Brooks, Amy Grant, and Sugarland, just to name a few. Heather was also a devoted fan of the Saint Louis Cardinals.

Heather will be greatly missed by all who had the honor and privilege of knowing and loving her.
