Hee-Yong (Chang) Kang, 80, longtime resident of Edwardsville, died at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, in Houston, TX. She was born Sunday, January 10, 1932 in Seoul, South Korea.



She is survived by two daughters, Yonsook (Jack) Enloe, of Clifton Park, NY, and Hyonsook Kang, of Houston, TX; a son, Grant (Lisa) Kang of Washington, MO; four sisters, Eh-Yong Chang, Suk-Yong Chang and Soon-Yong Chang, all of Seoul, Korea and Sun-Yong Chang, of Freemont, CA; and a brother, Nak-Yong Chang of Seoul, Korea; and eight grandchildren: Jack Enloe, Bill McKnight, Sally Enloe, Steven McKnight, Elena Kang, Ben Kang, Samantha Kang, and Joshua Kang.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ik Ju Kang.



Visitation will take place from10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
