Helen Louise Blue, 78, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 19th, 2026, at La Bella of Caseyville in Caseyville, IL. Helen was born on June 16th, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, to parents, Maynard and Mae Jones. She was the baby of the family while also being Maynard and Mae's 15th child. 

Coming from such a large family, it's no surprise how much she enjoyed spending time with them. She loved her nieces and nephews fiercely. Kids were a large part of her life and what brought her joy, despite never having any of her own. She was the very definition of a hard worker, having worked six days a week nearly all of her life, much of which was in the restaurant business. Outside of working, Helen loved to play Bingo and enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino boat. Once she moved into La Bella, she loved participating in the group activities with the other residents, as well as her Saturday visits with her sister, Clara. 

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Maynard and Mae Jones, as well as thirteen of her siblings. She is survived by her sister, Clara Barton; brother, Howard L. (Sherry L.) Jones; nieces, Elizabeth Morstain, Diana McQuarry, and Julie McCracken; nephews, Howard Barton and Howard Jones; as well as many more extended nieces, nephews, and other family members. 

Helen will be missed deeply, but comfort is found in knowing she's reunited with so many loved ones. Per her wishes, she will be cremated.
