CASEYVILLE- Helen M. Doughty, 95, of Caseyville, IL, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Helen was born on October 26, 1922 in East St. Louis, IL to Calip and Dixie (Stephens) Faulkner. She married Lawrence Doughty on June 3, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. He preceded her in death in 1958.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Richard Doughty and her siblings, Pauline Cavalie, William Edward Faulkner and Johnny Faulkner.

Helen is survived by her children, Larry Doughty of Galveston, IN and David (Deborah) Doughty of Caseyville, IL ; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Helen was a 75 year resident of Caseyville, IL. She worked as a nurse at Four Fountains in Belleville, IL for 25 years. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church in Caseyville, IL.

VISITATION- A visitation for Helen will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded.
