Helen L. Hylsky, nee Dusek, 83, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 10, 1929, in Fairmont City, Ill., died at 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, 2012, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Helen was formally employed at the States Savings & Loan in East St. Louis, Ill., and was a sales associate with Famous-Barr. She was a member of the Belleville Area Rose Association and Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking, sewing and loved her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert Hylsky whom she married on Oct. 16, 1948; her parents, Alois and Mary, nee Dolezal, Dusek; two sisters, Mary Pihir and Rose Adomite; and two brothers, Frank Dusek and Edward Dusek.
Surviving are her daughter and sons, Linda (Gerald) Dee of Fairview Heights, Ill., William (Deborah) Hylsky of Collinsville, Ill., Thomas (Deborah) Hylsky of Springfield, Mo., Mark Hylsky of Gulfport, Miss., and Kenneth (DiAnn) Hylsky of Littleton, Colo.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
