Helen M. Langston, nee Hale, 81, of Edwardsville, Ill., born Sept. 10, 1932, in Corning, Ark., passed away at 8:04 p.m. Thursday, June 26, 2014, at Eden Village Care Center in Glen Carbon, Ill.
Helen was a seamstress for Country Set fine clothing for women St Louis and was a Granite City school bus driver. She was devoted to her family and she loved the outdoors, camping and gardening. She was also an artist and master seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roland Langston, whom she married on May 5, 1956; and her parents, William F. and Daisy, nee Emmons, Hale.
Surviving are her children, Alice Marie Langston of Edwardsville, Ill., Daisy A. (Victor) Juarez of Philadelphia, Pa., and Roland Vaughn (Laurie) Langston of Phoenix, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
