Helen Lois Moore Booker, nee Meni, 98, formerly of Collinsville, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014, in Sedalia, Mo.
Helen was born July 13, 1916, the daughter of William and Jessie, nee Finley, Meni.
Helen graduated from Collinsville High School in 1934. She worked at Forest City Dress Factory and was a secretary in the Collinsville Unit 10 School District for many years. She was an avid golfer and St. Louis Cardinals fan. Helen was a member of First United Methodist Church in Collinsville.
Besides her parents, Helen was preceded in death by an infant son, David Ehlert; husbands, Owen Moore and Steve Booker Sr.; four sisters, Audrey Lind, Mary Monroe, Doris Campbell, and June Blaha; and two brothers, William and LaRue Meni.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Marilyn Ehlert; a granddaughter, Denise Brooke Ehlert; and a great-grandson, Dennis, all of Sedalia, Mo. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Evelyn Meni of Troy, Ill.; a stepson, Steve Booker Jr. of Collinsville, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Timm Serre of Hixson, Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Mark Horn officiating. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, Ill.
