Helen (Mashek) Trolliet, 95, of Glen Carbon, died at 1:10 a.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born Sept. 7, 1916 in Mashek, Mo., the daughter of the late John Jr. and Mary Agnes (Shilharvey) Mashek.



She married Richard Trolliet on May 27, 1961. He survives in Glen Carbon.



Helen was a licensed beautician in Missouri and Illinois for many years. She was a long standing member of the Association for Home and Community Education Glen Carbon Chapter. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ.



In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Jerome Mashek of Denver, Colo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.



Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles, Frank and Anthony Mashek; five sisters, Cecelia Stanek, Barbara Etta Mashek, Clara Jane McAmis, Sylvia Taliferro and Dona Burle.



Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 25 at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 26 at the funeral home with the Rev. Diane C. Grohmann officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
