Irene R. Bell, nee Sebastian, 77, of Collinsville, Ill., born Jan. 13, 1937, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Liberty Village Nursing Home, Maryville, Ill.

Irene was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill. She loved being with her family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth, nee Killion, Sebastian; and her twin sister, Arlene Besse.

Surviving are her loving husband of 56 years, John Bell; a daughter, Diane Koenig of Bolingbrook, Ill.; a son, David (Vickie) Bell of Manteca, Calif.; a grandson, Christopher Koenig of Bolingbrook, Ill.; two nephews, Richard and Ronald Besse; great-nieces and great-nephews, Adam, Megan, Ryan, Alex and Leyana; and a great-great-niece, Layla; a brother-in-law, Dale Besse.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 12:45 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2014, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
