Irene Lucille Trosper, 90, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 17, 1924, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at Collinsville Rehab & Health Care Center, Collinsville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess Trosper; and parents, Dever G. and Thelma M., nee Akridge, Winans.

Surviving are two daughters, Jan Trosper of Collinsville, Ill., and Judy (Todd) Tillman of Collinsville, Ill; two sisters, Nita Driver of Dayton, Ohio, and JoAnn Prior of Branson, Mo.; seven grandchildren, Heather Carpenter, Donald Shaffer, Allison Shaffer, Amy Shaffer, Randy Tillman, Tara Tillman and Marybeth Nowman; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Graveside services at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2014, at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo., with Rev. Jeff Young officiating.
