Irma G. Toenjes, nee Paoli, 88, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 23, 1925, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away at 12:12 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at Mary Queen and Mother Center in St. Louis, Mo.

Irma's greatest joy was spending time with her family, making people laugh and making sure everyone had had enough spaghetti. She was a proud Kahok girl from Collinsville and gave of her time to Ss. Peter & Paul School and Church as an active member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. Toenjes, whom she married on Feb. 11, 1950; her parents, Guido and Ida, nee Chemotti, Paoli; and two brothers, Charles Paoli and Albert Paoli.

Surviving are her children, Linda (William) Kincaid of St. Louis, Mo., and Ken (Susie) Toenjes of Anoka, Minn.; and loving grandchildren, Jack Kincaid and Ben and Mary Ann Toenjes.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church with Father John Beveridge officiating. Burial will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
