Irvin R. Reeves Sr., 82, of Highland, Ill., born Oct. 6, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away at 2:46 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, 2013, in Highland, Ill.

Mr. Reeves was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosa Reeves, whom he married on Aug. 21, 1954; a son, Irvin Reeves Jr.; parents, Amiel and Grace, nee Stratton, Reeves; and two brothers, Floyd and Clyde Reeves.

Surviving are his children, Peggy (Keith) Culp of Highland, Ill., Linda (Curtis) Godat of Irondale, Mo., Lorraine (William) Randolph of Pembroke, Ky., Thomas (Beverly) Reeves of O'Fallon, Ill., and Tina (Rick) Goforth of Highland, Ill.; daughter-in-law Christine Reeves; 17 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
