J. Albert Zebio, 92, Godfrey, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 3, 1924, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away on Sept. 6, 2016, in St. Louis, Mo.

Albert was an U.S Army veteran who served during WWII. After his service to the country, he was a teacher and then principle for Medora High School, Medora, Ill., from 1949 to 1954, he then was the head of the Social Studies Dept. at Granite City High School. He was a life long member of the First United Methodist Church and a charter and life member of the Collinsville VFW Post, 5691.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert C. and Mary E., nee Clark, Zebio.

Funeral: Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Pastor Mark Horn officiating. Burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
