Jackie Ramage, age 89 of Caseyville, Illinois, born March 21, 1935, in Paducah,
Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Caseyville Nursing and
Rehab.

Jackie worked as a laborer out of Local 100 in East St. Louis until retiring in
1997 at the age of 62. When speaking of life after retirement, he often joked with
family saying "Well, I haven't woken up a day since and wished I had to go to work!"
Jackie was also a long-standing member of Son Life Church and later Navigation
Church in Collinsville, Illinois.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Juil "Jack" and Bea (nee Hayden)
Ramage; his wife, Delores (nee Swedo) Ramage, whom he married on November
25, 1959; a son, Jeffery (Julie) Ramage; and brothers and sisters, Jimmy Lewis,
Donald Ramage, Ruth Kimme, Betty Green, and Barbara McAdams.

Surviving is his daughter, Jacqueline Grieve of Collinsville, Illinois;
granddaughters, Laura (Justin) Frawley of Troy, Illinois, and Sarah (Sam) Shafer of
Caseyville, Illinois; a grandson, Gabriel Ramage of Shiloh, Illinois; and great-
grandchildren, Sam, Seth, Salem, Brianne, Stella, and Jaxon.
Visitation will be held at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, Illinois on April 4,
2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Funeral service will follow at 12:00pm with Pastor
David Amsden of Navigation Church officiating.  Burial will be in Caseyville
Cemetery, Caseyville, Illinois.
