James A. Brombolich, 73, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2019. He was born in East St. Louis, Illinois on September 24, 1945 to John and Sophie (Kordela) Brombolich.

James is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Eugene Brombolich.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Franks) Brombolich and sons, Jay Brombolich of Collinsville, Illinois, John (Jennifer) Brombolich of Collinsville, Illinois and Jeff Brombolich of O'Fallon, Illinois, and one granddaughter, Emma Brombolich.

James is further survived by sisters, Judy (Ed) Ogle of Collinsville, Illinois and Rose (Rich) Mays of The Dalles, Oregon.

Sgt. Brombolich honorably served in the United States Air Force as a Nuclear Weapons Specialist. Jim later worked for the Social Security Administration from which he retired after 33 years of service.
