James Elmoine Cashion, age 90, of Caseyville, Illinois, passed away March 19, 2025.

He was born on April 26, 1934 in Rockwood, Illinois to the late Everet Cashion and Mammie Costoliow.

James was married to Carol Cashion for over 65 years.

He worked for the railroad for many years and retired with the railroad.

James loved farming.

His passion and love was spending as much time on his boat fishing.

He loved meeting his friends at Hardee's each morning for breakfast. They met so much there they became known as the Hardee's boys.

He is survived by his wife; Carol Cashion, son; Bruce Cashion, daughter; Robin Keller, grandchildren; Derik McCoy and Sam Mitchell, great-grandchildren; Gianna McCoy and Bennett Mitchell.

There will be no services held at this time.
