James Franklin "Frank" Dillman, age 89, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away March 4, 2022, at River Crossing of Edwardsville.

He was born November 7, 1932, in Maples, Missouri, and was the son of the late Alvin and Ida (nee Maples) Dillman.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Granite City, Illinois. Prior to retirement, he worked as a painter and decorator for many years.

He married Jo Ann M. (nee Meek) Riecken on November 6, 1994, in Findley, Ohio.  She survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Cynthia A. McGrath of St. Charles, Missouri, and Gina M. Dillman of Port St. Lucie, Florida, a son, Lon G. Dillman of Edwardsville, Illinois, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Private Graveside Services with military rites will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022, at Sunset Hill Cemetery, in Glen Carbon, Illinois, with Rev. Alan Beuster officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church in Granite City.
