James Arthur Hickam, 67, of Mulberry Grove, Ill., born Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1948, in Collinsville, Ill., passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2015, in Mulberry Grove, Ill.

James retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Moose Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Marie, nee Potter, Hickam; a brother, Bill Hickam; and sisters, Mary Logan, Peggy Doyle, Gertrude Sullens, and Minnie Pritchett.

Surviving are his son, James (Mandi) Hickam of Pocahontas, Ill.; daughters, Sheila (Billy) Pickens-Hickam of Pocahontas, Ill., and Shelly Hickam of Anderson, Ind.; his fiancee, Baerbel Long of Mulberry Grove, Ill.; brothers, Milford (Pat) Hickam of Omaha, Neb., Ernest (Pat) Hickam Jr., of Arkansas, Harold (Wanda) Hickam of Miami, Okla., and Earl Hickam of Bunker Hill, Ill.; sisters, Myra (Howard) Sams of Maryville, Ill., and Donna May (Joel) White of Hickory, Ky.; sister-in-law, Linda Hickam of Collinsville, Ill.; and grandchildren, Hanna Dill, Austin Hickam, Hunter Geissert, Logan Loney, Jamie Hickam, Haylee Meeler, Faith Hickam and Finley White.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, at the funeral home with Rev. Greg Pratt officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
