James A. Zimmerman

James A. "Zip" Zimmerman, 79, of Caseyville, IL., born November 12, 1938, in East St. Louis, IL, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 in St. Louis, MO.

Zip was a veteran of the U.S Army.  He was a dedicated member of the Caseyville VFW Post 1117, Caseyville, IL.  He enjoyed watching football, baseball and cutting his grass.

He is preceded in death by his parents Harley and Mamie, nee Brown, Zimmerman; his sisters, Wanda Creath, Mae Hitchock, Wilma Selle; his brother William Zimmerman.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years Margaret "Marge", nee Rowland, Zimmerman of Caseyville, IL.; his nephews, Robert (Cathy) Creath of Damiansville, IL., Guy (Michelle) Rowland of Honolulu, HI.;  his brother-in-law, Guy (Myong) Rowland of Edwardsville, IL.; his many other relatives and close friends.
